Sod Installation & Landscape Crew Member
Job Description:
We are seeking energetic and reliable crew members to help us deliver beautiful new lawns to our residential and commercial clients. As a key part of our field team, your daily role will involve:
- Removing old grass and weeds for lawn replacement projects
- Assisting with grading and soil preparation to ensure a smooth, healthy base
- Laying and cutting sod accurately for both residential and commercial sod installation jobs
- Operating basic landscaping machinery and hand tools safely
- Working closely with the crew leader to complete jobs on time
- Leaving every customer’s property clean and tidy
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, sodding, or general construction is preferred but not required (we will train the right person!)
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Attention to detail to ensure seams are tight and edges are clean
- Punctual and reliable work habits
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Waterloo shop

Lawn Care & Fertilization Specialist
Job Description:
As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will focus on keeping our clients’ newly installed and existing lawns green, healthy, and pest-free. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Applying lawn fertilization treatments according to specific schedules
- Diagnosing lawn health issues and providing expert lawn repair services
- Administering grub control and other pest management solutions safely
- Educating customers on proper watering and mowing habits
- Keeping accurate records of services provided and products used
- Driving a company vehicle to various service routes throughout the Waterloo area
Qualifications:
- Experience in professional lawn care, fertilization, or pesticide application
- Local knowledge of Waterloo soils, grass types, and common turf pests
- Relevant landscaping or pesticide application licenses (or willingness to obtain them)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your daily route efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Landscape Project Manager
Job Description:
As our Project Manager, you will oversee our larger residential and commercial sod installation projects from start to finish. You will ensure our crews have what they need and that our clients are thrilled with the results. Your responsibilities include:
- Scheduling daily routes for the sod installation and lawn care crews
- Managing material deliveries, including soil, sod, and fertilizer
- Communicating directly with homeowners and commercial property managers
- Ensuring all grading, soil preparation, and sodding work meets our high quality standards
- Troubleshooting on-site challenges and adjusting plans to meet deadlines
- Conducting final walk-throughs to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in landscaping, sod installation, or construction
- Deep understanding of grading, soil health, and turf management
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to manage both crew members and clients
